The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University is seeking highly qualified individuals for two open-rank faculty positions (junior tenure-track or established tenured) in cell biology. The department hosts 50 research groups with interests including cell biology, cancer biology, neurodegeneration, metabolism and diabetes, and stem cell biology. All candidates should possess outstanding academic credentials and a record of scholarly productivity.
Applicants with a Ph.D. and/or M.D. and expertise in any aspect of cell biology and molecular mechanisms of disease will be considered.
Areas of particular interest include:
Membrane Trafficking
Organelle Biology
Cell Adhesion and Motility
Molecular Pathogenesis of Disease
Additional desirable expertise includes:
Cell Engineering
Spatial Transcriptomics
Single Cell Sequencing
Computational Biology
Genomic Pathology
