Responsible for basic and specialty cleaning, and room set-up services across all sites. Responsibilities include janitorial duties, cleaning, stocking supplies, and event support as part of a combined Environmental Services and Event Support role. Responsibilities

Perform daily janitorial duties and general cleaning across facility shifts: cleaning, dusting, mopping, polishing bathroom fixtures, counters, doors, furniture, high and low surfaces, partitions, sinks, showers, stainless steel, tables, walls, woodwork, and washing of mirrors, glass, and windows. Stock supplies in restrooms and throughout the facility; operate cleaning equipment and tools safely. Work in accordance with facility standards and procedures; demonstrate knowledge and safe use of chemicals, equipment, and cleaning techniques. Provide emergency spill response, environmental remediation, hazardous waste disposal, and industrial cleaning. Pick up, transport, and removal of compost, recycling, and waste; perform hard surface floor care and carpet/upholstery care. Operate cleaning equipment such as battery-powered and manual equipment, gas and electric blowers, floor polishers and scrubbers, brooms, vacuums, and wet mops. Inspect assigned work areas and report any burnt-out lights, non-working fixtures, graffiti, or minor damage; support Security by reporting any unusual conditions. Provide support during severe weather, building emergencies, and evacuations; assist with event setup and cleanup. Monitor supplies and equipment and report needs to supervisor; perform manual tasks including operating floor scrubbers and related machinery. Maintain carts, equipment, and storage areas and ensure safe handling of chemicals and cleaning techniques. Event Support

Maintain radio connection to event coordinators, security and staff to ensure timely responses during events. Support movement of equipment and materials during event setup and breakdown, ensuring timely and correctly configured setups. Assist with cleaning of event locations before, during, and after events, including trash/recycling, restroom maintenance, spill response, and general upkeep. Perform room conversions according to floor plans, including setting/removing tables and chairs; ensure organization of furniture storage areas. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

One year experience in janitorial/environmental services in a commercial, institutional, hospitality, or healthcare setting Customer service orientation; excellent housekeeping with attention to detail Ability to operate environmental services equipment; English literacy (reading, writing, speaking) and radio communication Proficiency with email and text messaging; ability to learn policies and procedures related to Environmental Services and preservation of works of art Ability to work independently or as part of a team; professional interaction with the public and co-workers Basic computer literacy; ability to pass and maintain security background check clearance Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a critical or secure environment Work Schedule

The schedule is variable with a flexible approach required to support departmental needs as directed by the supervisor. Work Conditions

Indoor climate-controlled environment with moderate noise; may involve outdoor areas. Exposure to biohazards, hazardous chemicals, and cleaning agents. Physical requirements include lifting up to 25 pounds; with assistance up to 50 pounds. Movement and standing required for extended periods. Accommodation
