Padre Associates, LLC (Padre) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Staff/Project Level Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Environmental Scientist to join our team in Sacramento, California. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to diverse environmental projects across the state, blending hands-on field experience with essential office management and reporting tasks. What you'll do

Support

Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments/Investigations . Assist with

remediation work plans and monitoring . Conduct

stormwater monitoring and compliance projects . Perform a combination of

fieldwork

and

office management and reporting duties . 2-5 years of environmental-related experience . Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in

Geology, Environmental Engineering/Science, or a related environmental degree . Strong understanding of

federal, state, and local environmental regulations

(e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, CAA). Proficiency in

Microsoft Office Suite

(Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to

collect, interpret, and analyze environmental data . Experience with

environmental sampling and testing methodologies

(e.g., soil, groundwater, air). Ability to work both

independently and collaboratively

in a team environment. Excellent

written and verbal communication skills

for technical reports, proposals, and client interactions. Valid driver's license and ability to travel for fieldwork throughout California. Self-motivated

with strong

interpersonal, writing, and problem-solving skills . Enthusiastic and interested in

professional growth

within a growing environmental consulting firm. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or progress towards Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification. Familiarity with environmental modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS). Experience with project management principles.
