This is a job for a Senior Treasury Officer - Gulfport position with a company located in the Gulfport, MS area. General Position Scope: The Senior Treasury Officer focuses primarily on the acquisition of commercial and treasury services customers, either in conjunction with servicing officers or on an individual basis. This position requires extensive experience in treasury management and the ability consult with commercial prospective customers, understanding their needs and delivering integrated banking solutions. The Senior Treasury Services Officer is directly responsible for expanding existing and prospective customer relationships, effectively managing the treasury services and merchant services customer portfolios, and providing product education and mentorship to both inside sales and banking center treasury services representatives. Other core responsibilities include engaging the Treasury Services sales team, account officers, and commercial customers at senior and strategic levels in order to provide integrated treasury solutions within a consultative and client driven framework. This also includes coaching direct report(s), incorporating industry best practices and benchmarking, along with opportunity qualification and business development. Incumbent is required to be fluent in commercial and treasury services in order to leverage opportunities and deliver tailored client solutions. In addition to, possessing a thorough understanding of industry capabilities and opportunities for BankPlus, while also providing thought leadership to internal teams and banking centers. Responsibilities

Responsible for the growth of treasury services revenue and merchant services residuals through the acquisition of new commercial customers, while deepening and growing existing customer relationships. Manage and actively coach a 25+ member team of Banking Center Treasury Services Representatives. This includes hosting monthly team webinars designed to provide product education, sales strategies, emerging trends within Treasury, and additional guidance on product procedures and policy. Manage the Treasury Services Inside Sales Representative(s) and assign additional duties as needed. Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset; and the ability to generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new business. Perform product research and propose appropriate solutions in order to increase sales opportunities, adjusting workflows to leverage operational efficiencies, and providing guidance to internal teams. Possess strong tech industry and local market expertise, effective delivery of sales presentations, actively lead sales meetings, and joint call planning and prospect development in partnership with each region's commercial lending and branch calling officers. This includes actively partnering with commercial lenders in pre-proposal discussions to fully understand client needs and shape preferred solutions. Understand clients' business goals, environments, strategies, and industry trends to become a trusted advisor. Cultivate excellent relationships with internal and external associates while providing a valuable network for referral and cross selling opportunities. Provide expertise to the various internal departments, direct report(s), and branch personnel and resolve escalated issues associated with Treasury Services products. Facilitate frequent sales and product training for internal associates, including instructor-led and virtual presentations. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to all levels of customers including large corporate entities. Requires extensive knowledge of products and services available within the treasury and fintech industries, strong understanding of account analysis, and ability to discern information and formulate effective solutions to prospective clients. Develop treasury and deposit services analysis pro forma and formal sales proposals for client presentations to further develop and strengthen business relationships. Maintain up to date knowledge of treasury services sales programs, products, and services, as well as applicable federal and state regulatory and compliance requirements. Detailed functional and technical knowledge of the Bank's various treasury services and digital banking offerings. Includes guiding direct reports on various IT processes, critical thinking and problem-solving techniques, oversight of decoding various file specifications to ensure inside sales team is able to assist customers when generating compatible file formats (e.g. NACHA, ARP, etc). Possess thorough knowledge of industry services including: available treasury management and digital banking platforms, ACH origination (expert in NACHA files), retail and medical lockbox arrangements, Positive Pay (file mapping), ACH Debit Block/ACH Positive Pay, remote deposit capture, merchant services, virtual vault, etc. Ability to interpret, validate, and provide coaching and guidance when reviewing NACHA and Positive Pay (ARP) files, including to both treasury services customers and Inside Sales Representative(s). Possess fluent understanding of account analysis statement and understand clients' current and future treasury services needs in order to expand and cross-sell business relationships. This also includes strong knowledge of various industry terminology (e.g. earnings credit allowance, compensating balance, etc.) Excellent listening, verbal, written and business communication skills, delivered in person, via phone or email, including effective questioning strategies, negotiations skills, presentation techniques and training delivery skills. Superb project management skills; development and management of vendor RFPs to solicit proposals in order to expand existing mix of treasury services while ensuring BankPlus maintains a competitive market position. This includes identifying prospective industry partners, design and delivery of RFPs, analysis of vendor proposals, and pricing negotiation skills in order to ensure the bank's objectives are met. Conduct vendor relationship reviews of progress on cost control measures and overall performance concerns or successes. This includes assessing compliance with key performance indicators (KPI) and service-level agreements (SLA). Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of sales experience in the commercial banking industry. CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) strongly preferred. Superior knowledge of treasury management products, preferred. Expert sales, relationship, and business development skills, preferred.
