Competitive, based on experience Position Description: We are seeking a Senior IAM Systems Engineer to design, implement, and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions that ensure secure, compliant, and efficient user access across the organization. This role will focus on SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and IdentityIQ, providing technical leadership in identity governance, lifecycle management, access control, and compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments, collaborates across teams, and drives innovative IAM solutions. Responsibilities

Lead the deployment, configuration, and administration of SailPoint ISC to support lifecycle management, RBAC, access provisioning, and automation. Guide the transition from IdentityIQ to SailPoint ISC, providing technical expertise to internal teams and external migration partners. Develop custom connectors and automate processes for user access, lifecycle management, and access certifications. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for IAM systems; troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues. Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Audit, HR, and business units to maintain regulatory compliance (SOX, FFIEC, GLBA, PCI-DSS). Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with Active Directory, Office 365, Workday, UKG Pro, ServiceNow, Splunk, Okta, and similar platforms. Contribute to IAM process improvement, documentation, and best practices for security and identity governance. Required Skills & Qualifications

7+ years of IAM engineering experience; strong hands-on expertise with SailPoint IGA platforms. Minimum 2 years with SailPoint ISC; additional experience with ISC, IdentityNow, or IdentityIQ. Experience on other IGA platforms (Okta, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra) may partially substitute. 7+ years applying system engineering principles to design, deploy, and manage complex systems. 5+ years building custom objects, workflows, rules, and tasks in SailPoint. Experience migrating organizations from IdentityIQ to SailPoint ISC required. 2+ years building custom connectors using SCIM, REST APIs, Web Services, JDBC, LDAP. 4+ years of SDLC experience (requirements, design, testing, deployment, maintenance). Strong understanding of security protocols (LDAP, AD, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect). Knowledge of IGA, SSO, MFA, and PAM solutions. Proficiency with ITSM tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Ivanti. Experience writing IAM or Information Security procedures, policies, and standards. Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related field. SailPoint Identity Security Professional or Identity Security Engineer Certification strongly preferred. Additional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus. Skills & Abilities

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving. Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Collaborative team player with a high degree of integrity and professionalism. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain compliance with organizational policies.
