Job Title:
Accounting Manager The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and manage a small accounting team. This role will also support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional projects to enhance overall financial performance. Compensation
Base pay range : $95,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr Additional compensation types : Annual Bonus Key Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, including AP, AR, and staff accountants. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors. Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Provide financial analysis and support for budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting timelines. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; 2+ years in a supervisory or management role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, JD Edwards) and advanced Excel skills.
