Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including reconciling bank statements, financial statements, and general ledgers in compliance with project and joint venture requirements. Record daily financial transactions such as purchases, sales, receipts, and other activities; prepare and reconcile journal entries. Prepare financial reports for partners, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, trial balances, and general ledgers. Reconcile bank, general ledger, and other financial accounts in accordance with GAAP standards. Support audit processes and ensure compliance with joint venture and partner requirements. Provide necessary financial data for tax preparation and coordinate with external CPA firms. Assist with loan and equity draw processes; monitor and track project expenses against budgets. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions while maintaining vendor and partner relationships. Collaborate with internal teams, banks, and joint venture partners to support project and financial operations. Qualifications

Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and reporting standards. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel; familiarity with Yardi or similar accounting software is a plus. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or 3-5 years of equivalent experience. Experience in real estate accounting or project-based accounting is preferred. Seniority level
