Qualifications & Qualities
For Toddler teacher applicants: Infant/Toddler units required Preferred 2-3 years of experience in early childhood teaching young children Excellent communication and written skills Team player, positive role model, strong work ethic, and take-charge attitude Strong customer service skills with an ability to build strong relationships with parents and co-workers Self-motivated, responsible, driven, and able to work with minimal supervision Organized, good time management skills, independent, creative, fun-loving, and kind General Responsibilities
Follow and implement pre-developed lesson plans Maintain appropriate records Maintain a clean, healthy, and stimulating environment for children Provide proper supervision at all times Teach and guide children in the classroom Work independently and collaboratively with other teachers Update parents about their child's progress Communicate necessary information to children, teachers, parents, the Director, or authorities Compensation
$24-30 per hour (depending on experience and suitability) Medical benefits Paid leave Requirements
6-12 units of Early Childhood Education (on the lower end, must be enrolled in classes) Fingerprint Background Clearance First Aid and CPR certification, negative TB test, and immunization records Positive attitude toward learning, communication, parents, and children Understanding of educational techniques and methods for teaching young children To apply, submit a resume and cover letter.
