Qualifications & Qualities: For Toddler teacher applicants, Infant/Toddler units required Preferred 2-3 years experience in early childcare teaching young children Excellent communication and written skills Team player, positive role model, strong work ethic, and take-charge attitude Strong customer service skills with an ability to build strong relationships with parents & co-workers Self-motivated, responsible, driven, and works well with minimal supervision Organized with good time management skills, independent, creative, fun-loving, and kind General Responsibilities: Follow and implement pre-developed lesson plans Maintain appropriate records Maintain a clean, healthy, stimulating environment for the children to learn in Provide proper supervision at all times Teach and guide the children in their classroom Work independently and with other teachers Update parents about their child’s progress Communicate necessary information to the child, other teachers, parents, the Director, or authorities Compensation: $24-30 per hour (depending on experience/suitability) Medical benefits Paid leave Requirements: 6-12 units of Early Childhood Education (on the lower end must be still enrolled in classes) First Aid and CPR certified / Negative TB test and immunization records Positive attitude toward learning, communicating, parents, and children Understanding of educational techniques and methods for teaching young children To apply for this position, please submit a resume and cover letter.
