Th e Crisis Care Centers Levy will create a countywide network of five crisis care centers, restore the number of residential treatment beds in the region, and invest in the recruitment and retention of the community behavioral health workforce. The proposal funds the plan through a nine-year property tax levy to treat immediate crisis and support long-term recovery and well-being. The CCC Levy proposes to invest in urgent care needs to transform an aging system and restore a path to recovery. The proposal responds to continued closures, reduced capacity, and significant gaps of behavioral health resources. The
Crisis Care Center Levy Community Liaison, Project/Program Manager (PPM) II
position will report to the CCC Levy Implementation Planning Director and will have a crucial role in the success of the CCC implementation planning. This recruitment will be used to fill one Term-Limited Temporary (TLT) or Special Duty Assignment (SDA) position.
The Term-Limited Temporary position is anticipated to end one years after the start date. If filled by a King County employee who has passed their initial probation, the TLT will be as a Special Duty Assignment (SDA). WHO MAY APPLY:

This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. This position meets the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible with supervisory pre-approval. This position is not represented by a union. This position has been designated Non-Mission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive, department director or agency head, all employees, regardless of designation, are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. The work associated with this position will be performed through a combination of teleworking complemented with onsite work and meetings as needed. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection (access may be supplemented in some situations) where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours. Please note that when an employee conducts work that is likely to bring them in contact with another individual, safety precautions are required , including the wearing of masks in some situations . Annette Coleman, ancoleman@kingcounty.gov Plan and administer a series of community engagement meetings and focus groups to obtain stakeholder and public input. Summarize and analyze feedback gathered through community engagement activities. Ensure that the Division authentically shows up to community partnership activities, including assessing accessibility needs and addressing barriers to public participation. Develop content to effectively communicate with community partners and the public through electronic newsletters, the department blog and other digital platforms. Ensure that community partnership efforts live up to King County's commitment to equity, race and social justice. Contribute to the creation of high profile written documents and/or other materials for broad internal and external distribution, including documents prepared for the King County Executive, King County Council, other elected officials, and a wide array of public audiences. Provide briefings and presentations to audiences. Represent the department in select community meetings. Perform activities typical of a project manager: Monitor scope, schedule and budget of contract or project and report results; produce high-quality and timely project deliverables. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners. Facilitate work groups and meetings.

Experience in planning and implementing events/activities Experience tracking, managing, documenting, analyzing and reporting on public feedback from constituents, stakeholders, and jurisdictions for internal decision-makers and elected officials Demonstrated experience applying principles of equity and social justice in the design and execution of community engagement or community partnership strategies and events Experience and skill in giving presentations to large and small audiences of community members and service providers Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, community members, and affected populations representing the full racial, ethnic, cultural and geographic diversity of a community/region Ability to synthesize complex ideas and communicate them in an understandable way to others Knowledge of web and social media tools and analytics (such as Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) Experience creating content for and coordinating the production of communication materials, such as FAQs, key messages, website content, handouts, mailers, posters, presentations, display boards, social media and multi-media, to explain technical information in public-friendly and accessible ways and invite and welcoming participation Valid Washington State Driver's License or a demonstrated ability to travel throughout the county in a timely manner DESIRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS Two or more years of experience in planning and implementing events/activities Experience in behavioral health, health care, social services or a related field Forbes named King County as one of Washington State's best employers.
