Overview

Position: Assistant or Associate Professor, Marketing Institution: University of Tampa, Sykes College of Business Start date: Fall 2026. This is a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Teaching load: three (3) four credit hour courses per semester (12 hours). Summary: The candidate is expected to engage in scholarly and research activity with undergraduates, advise students, and provide service to the department, college, university and broader community. Salary: competitive and commensurate with experience. Responsibilities

Teach assigned courses and contribute to the department’s teaching mission. Engage in scholarly activities with undergraduate students. Advise students and participate in service to the department, college, university, and broader community. Qualifications

Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited program, or equivalent, in Marketing, or a Ph.D. in a closely related business field with published scholarly work in Marketing. ABDs will be considered. A proven track record in teaching, scholarship, service and student mentoring (for four open tenure-track positions). For the first position, preference given to candidates with experience in and a desire to teach professional sales. For the second position, ability to cover a number of different courses taught by the department. Ideal candidate will have a proven record of publishing in or demonstration of potential to publish in ABDC A+, A, or B journals. Required Attachments
