Planet Pharma . Job Description: Assist with projects assigned by cross-functional teams. Perform polymer formulation, characterization, and processing in a research lab environment. Understand materials technology and lens production to ensure compatibility; identify and optimize novel materials for lens, saline, and lens care product formulations. Understand structure-property relationships in polymers; select and execute testing methodologies for new contact lenses, surfaces, and packaging. Document experiments thoroughly and communicate results; support patent filings as needed. Handle chemicals according to safety guidelines; comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations; use statistical methods for experiments and data analysis. Monitor relevant scientific literature for developments related to products. Target Pay Rate:
$28-$36.23/hr, commensurate with experience. Perform batch preparations, document processes, and support project goals with cross-functional teams. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, fluency in English, and relevant experience. Desired experience includes work in chemistry/material science industries, formulation, and process experience with hydrogels and contact lenses.
