Senior Associate Financial Planner

for our wealth management firm in our Tukwila, WA Office. Candidates who currently have a

CFP (or equivalent) , thrive in a small firm environment, and want to be involved in all aspects of the business, are of high interest to us. Position Overview This is a professional position primarily focused on supporting one of the Financial Planners in managing existing and new client relationships. You will assist in various projects, including portfolio reviews and financial projections using Microsoft Office and company software. A strong understanding of portfolio allocation, investment management, and financial planning is expected. The Financial Planner will provide mentoring and guidance, but you are expected to work independently, anticipate firm needs, and address client questions proactively. Responsibilities: Assist Financial Planner in preparing for and conducting client meetings; monitor clients’ financial situations with attention to detail and accuracy. Participate in all pre-client meeting activities, including data gathering, preparing agendas, client paperwork, Investment Policy Statements, and asset allocation. Handle post-client meeting tasks, including financial analysis and coordinating planning implementation with outside professionals if needed. Assist in trading and rebalancing client investment accounts, including one-off trades, raising cash, bi-weekly rebalances, and tax loss harvesting. Provide financial planning advice for high-net-worth clients. Develop and manage ongoing client relationships independently. Assist in portfolio maintenance and management alongside the Lead Financial Planner. Support the Investment Committee by adding accounts to models, trading, rebalancing, and tax loss harvesting using proprietary software; conduct fund research under the CIO's guidance; coordinate portfolio reviews; and facilitate committee discussions. Key Qualifications: FINRA registration, including Series 7 and 66 (or recognized equivalents). B.A. or B.S. degree. CFP or other industry designations/credentials. Self-starter, organized, with strong attention to detail. Strong financial and analytical skills. Ability to work independently, keeping the Planner informed of progress and hurdles.
