We are currently hiring part time Security Door Staff at Sam Adams Boston Taproom. As a member of the security staff, your responsibility is to provide direct physical security to staff, patrons, and brewery assets, while promoting a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment for all guests.

What You'll Brew

Welcome every guest in a warm and inclusive manner, while serving as an enthusiastic first and last impression of the brewery to all guests

Work with management to identify and address potential safety risks throughout the brewery

Become familiarized with all policies for guests and ensure that we are in compliance within the terms of our CUP and local laws at all times

Ensure that no intoxicated persons or un-accompanied minors enter the premises

Maintain cleanliness and order along the street, including sweeping as needed, and directing vendors and performers to their proper locations

Remove any guest who is being disruptive and/or exhibiting clear signs of intoxication, using good judgment, clear communication, and professionalism

Track the number of guests entering and exiting the location as needed and implement an orderly door wait once capacity is reached

Greet guests with reservations, special events, and/or keg pickups, and notify the Manager on duty about their arrival

Follow all steps of procedure as outlined in the security plan

What Ingredients You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

CPR/First Aid Certification desired

Active Guard Card Certification (within 6 months of start date – California only)

Previous security/door staff experience desired

Level:

10

In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $21.50 per hour. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location.
