We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Protein Sciences team as a contractor. The role is focused on biochemical assays. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, work independently, and be comfortable presenting results to cross-functional teams. Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr Responsibilities

Routinely set up biochemical assays to assess protein activity inhibition by compounds Perform ELISA on a daily basis Characterize proteins using various analytical techniques Qualifications

BS/MS in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related field and 1-3 years of industry experience Experience using a variety of biochemical assay formats such as ELISA, traditional and automated Western blots, and fluorescent assays Experience implementing automation instruments to conduct assays Experience using plate readers for assay readout detection Experience maintaining mammalian cell culture lines and using them to express recombinant proteins Experience using an AKTA FPLC and several chromatography procedures for protein purification Ability to successfully work in a team environment Strong oral and written communication skills Accountable, high level of attention to detail, and able to multitask Ability to record scientific results in an organized manner and to register and track reagents Self-motivated and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines Bonus Skills:

Prior experience performing routine Structure Activity-Relationship (SAR) activity assays with compounds to support therapeutic development Prior experience performing different types of ELISA
