Assistant or Associate Professor - Beef Cattle Extension & Research
The University of Georgia is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor for a nine-month, tenure track appointment in the Department of Animal and Dairy Science. The position will be located at the UGA Tifton Campus and will have a focus on beef cattle Extension and research. Responsibilities: Develop and provide leadership for a nationally/internationally recognized beef cattle Extension and research program. Direct the Tifton Bull Evaluation Center and Heifer Evaluation and Reproductive Development (HERD) Program. Participate in the Junior Livestock Program. Requirements: An earned doctorate in Animal Science or a closely related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience at the Assistant Professor level for consideration as an Associate Professor.
