Develop and lead a nationally/internationally recognized beef cattle extension and research program. Engage with county agents and scientists to develop an advanced information transfer program for the Georgia Beef Industry. Direct the Tifton Bull Evaluation Center and Heifer Evaluation and Reproductive Development (HERD) Program. Conduct externally funded, applied research aligned with expertise. Participate in the Junior Livestock Program. Minimum Qualifications
Earned doctorate in Animal Science or a closely related field. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in leadership, communication skills, and a strong research record. For Associate Professor rank, at least 5 years of experience at the Assistant level and evidence of emerging national stature are required. Candidates for tenure must have been tenured at a prior institution and possess a national reputation. Application Materials
