Teach Spanish courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Spanish or related field; or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Spanish. The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the college’s pre-employment security screening. Community college, face-to-face, and online teaching experience; experience with Canvas. Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to place a strong emphasis on student-centered learning and provide an innovative e-learning experience. Demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds. Additional Information
Part-time adjunct teaching faculty-ranked appointment without state benefits. Salary commensurate with the experience of the applicant, in graduate education in the field, related full-time occupational employment, and full-time equivalent teaching.
