Job Description
Verdantas is seeking an Environmental Engineer. This position will be in the Irvine, CA Office.
Responsibilities
Conducting field activities including collecting samples of various environmental media (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and air) Participating in environmental investigation programs including Phase l/ll Environmental Site Assessments Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation Evaluating environmental regulations Preparing environmental reports Contractor liaison/oversight for investigation and remedial programs Problem-solving using standard engineering / scientific methods Assist with coordinating project tasks, implementing fieldwork, participating in remedial design efforts Demonstrate effective analytical, interpretive, and management skills Communicate effectively to team members; both verbally and written forms of communication
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering 0-2 years of relevant experience Proficient with MS Office Suite of products Able to conduct some fieldwork with heavy lifting 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus Must possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Salary Range
$35.00 - $40.00 hr
