Overview
Entry Level Highway Engineer — Philadelphia/AECOM networking event details included for potential Spring/Summer 2026 start. Based in Conshohocken, PA. Hybrid work schedule. Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr – $90,000.00/yr.
Responsibilities
Work with more experienced engineers to design medium to large scale transportation projects in the Greater Pennsylvania Area.
Develop design criteria, horizontal and vertical alignments, superelevation, barrier/guiderail design, and spot elevation details.
Develop rigid and flexible pavement designs.
Develop signing and pavement marking plans and details.
Develop construction phasing plans.
Identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions.
Develop construction quantities and cost estimates.
Develop 3D models in OpenRoads and/or Civil 3D.
Prepare technical calculations and reports per client and internal AECOM standards.
Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred: EIT Certification.
Preferred: Relevant internship or co-op experience in highway design and/or transportation.
Working knowledge of OpenRoads (ORD) or Civil3D and 3D modeling techniques.
