Assistant Instructor/Assistant Professor of Instruction
Join the University of South Florida Libraries as an Assistant Instructor/Assistant Professor of Instruction. The University of South Florida (USF) School of Aging Studies is seeking a 12-month Assistant Instructor/Assistant Professor of Instruction to align with its academic goals. The person in this position will be responsible for covering existing classes and developing new courses in the School of Aging Studies as we prepare to launch new curricula and academic initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering four classes each Spring and Fall and two in the summer. This position will be based in-person at the USF Tampa campus. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications : Master’s degree in Gerontology or a related field from an accredited institution. Master’s degree in Gerontology or a related field from an accredited institution Preferred Qualifications : Doctoral degree in Gerontology or a related field from an accredited institution Teaching experience both in-person and online graduate and undergraduate courses in Gerontology or a related field at an accredited institution Teaching experience with large general education courses Experience in curriculum development and assessment of student performance Applicants are required to submit the following in support of their application: Cover Letter CV 2 Letters of Recommendation (at time of application) Position is open until filled.
