Division of Dental Hygiene

at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) prepares students to become competent dental hygienists who actively participate in improving the public's oral health. Established in 1954, UMKC's program is the only one in Missouri to award a Baccalaureate degree in dental hygiene. Our graduates are equipped to work effectively as oral health care professionals across various settings, including clinical practice, education, public health, hospital dental programs, and public-school dental programs. Job Description

The School of Dentistry seeks an adjunct faculty member for the Division of Dental Hygiene. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation of dental hygiene students in first or second-year clinics. This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible, unranked academic position, approximately 10 to 26 hours per week (0.25 to 0.65 FTE). Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required Eligibility for Missouri dental hygiene licensure required Preferred Qualifications:

A Master's Degree in Dental Hygiene is preferred. Application Materials
