Area of Specialization: Social/Political Philosophy or Philosophy of Law. The normal teaching load is four courses per year (2-2) on a semester system. Duties include research, teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and service. The Department of Philosophy is an active research department with a strong graduate program, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to research and scholarship through high quality publications in top-tier venues. The department collaborates with the minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, providing opportunities to teach in that program. Qualifications
Ph.D. or highest-level terminal degree in Philosophy or a related field. Demonstrated potential in establishing a successful program of research and scholarship. Demonstrated ability to teach and participate in our strong philosophy undergraduate, M.A., and Ph.D. programs. Contact Information
