The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville is seeking a full-time Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon faculty at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor to join our team. The position will be located primarily in the Jacksonville area, but may support the growing NE Florida region. Major responsibilities include performing hand/wrist surgeries and procedures and providing ambulatory clinical care. This position will report to the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Responsibilities
Perform hand and wrist surgeries and related procedures.
Provide ambulatory clinical care to patients in the Jacksonville region and potentially broader NE Florida area.
Collaborate with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery leadership and contribute to teaching and clinical programs.
Qualifications
MD required; board certified or board eligible.
Fellowship trained in Hand Surgery.
Ability to obtain a Florida Medical License.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Extensive experience in performing complex procedures and surgeries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex medical concepts to students.
Passion for teaching and dedication to fostering academic growth.
