Postdoctoral Research Associate Senior position in the Center for Biomedical Research to develop an immunotherapy to treat HIV/Mtb co-infection. The position is NIH R01-supported and is immediately available. Participate in a phage therapy project aimed at developing a cure for multi-drug resistant Mtb infection. Apply extensive expertise in immunology, virology, and microbiology to drive project goals. Utilize multicolor flow cytometry and perform procedures in small animals (e.g., tail-vein injection and retro-orbital bleeding) as required. Receive relevant training upon hiring. Qualifications
Recent Ph.D. in Biological Sciences such as immunology, virology, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, or related fields. Strong background in immunology, virology, and microbiology. Extensive experience with multicolor flow cytometry. Experience handling small animals (e.g., tail-vein injection, retro-orbital bleeding) is highly valued.
