Department Summary
The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth is excited to announce the formation of its College of Nursing. The new college will help address the shortage of nurses in Texas, which has the second-fewest nurses per capita in the U.S.
Position Overview
UNT Health Science Center (HSC) College of Nursing is seeking applications for multiple faculty positions. The successful candidate will teach courses, conduct research, advise students, and engage in service to the department, university, and profession. The position is open rank and may be a tenure track or non-tenure track appointment, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
A doctoral degree in nursing or a related field or a Master’ Degree based on rank. A valid nursing license in the state of Texas or eligibility for licensure. Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. A record of scholarly research and publication in nursing or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.
