Overview
Seeking an
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with
OSHA, EPA, DOT, and local regulations
while fostering a safe and sustainable workplace. This role oversees the development, implementation, and management of safety and environmental programs, as well as training and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain
EHS programs, policies, and procedures .
Ensure compliance with
federal, state, and local regulations .
Conduct
safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments .
Lead
incident investigations
and implement corrective actions.
Deliver training on safety procedures, hazardous materials, and emergency response.
Monitor and report on
EHS performance metrics .
Serve as primary contact for
regulatory agencies .
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Environmental Science, Safety, or related field (required).
5+ years of EHS experience
in waste management, logistics, or manufacturing.
In-depth knowledge of
OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations .
Professional certifications such as
CSP, CHMM, or CIH
preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
