Salary range $64,480 - $77,329 with full benefits Responsibilities
Lead the curriculum, instruction, and assessment for students to whom you are assigned. Use proven educational models for social-emotional learning, personalized learning, and data-driven differentiated instruction in a culturally-sensitive manner. Differentiate curriculum, instruction, and individualized learning plans to meet student needs. Design and implement high quality IEPs with clear objectives and outcomes in a timely manner. Develop positive relationships with students and families to support student growth. Manage classroom behavior in a respectful manner consistent with school rules and the Acero Schools Student Code of Conduct. Collaborate with instructional leaders to develop and execute a Professional Growth Plan. Communicate clearly with administration, colleagues, students, parents, and the larger academic community to improve academic outcomes. Demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and personal responsibility for daily work, attendance, and school success. Contribute to a positive school community and professional culture. Demonstrate belief in the ability of all students to learn and succeed. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree (required). Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or equivalent (required). Valid Illinois LBS1 endorsement or equivalent (required). Strong technology skills and familiarity with electronic IEP systems. ESL/Bilingual endorsement preferred. Residency in Chicago not required. Must be authorized to work in the United States (required). Compensation & Benefits
