The Associate Food Scientist role works predominantly day shift hours with occasional nights/weekends to complete projects. What you’ll do

Execute product development and/or improvement projects including formulating finished product and sub-assembly for pizzas. Prepare small-scale samples for testing, document study results according to company procedures, and maintain a clean and organized environment with accurate recordkeeping. Demonstrate strong knowledge of food science best practices to test materials, develop formula improvements and/or new formulas, and prepare lab sheets. Assist with PR events, food shows, food presentations and production presentations. Why you’ll be successful

Proven ability to provide support to the organization in the areas of food technology, product design, food manufacturing, and food safety. Knowledge from your Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Culinary and experience with food manufacturing, major food companies or the restaurant industry. Organized and methodical problem-solving approach, often in time-sensitive, tight-deadline situations where accuracy is critical. Passionate lifelong learner with a strong interest in mastering new techniques in the culinary arts and food science.
