with affiliation in the
Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (SWCOEH) . The School of Public Health is one of seven schools within UTHealth Houston and has six locations throughout Texas in Austin, Brownsville, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio. The new faculty will join the Houston location of the School of Public Health. Houston is the fourth largest city in the United States and boasts a strong economy (

). Position Key Accountabilities: Candidates will be expected to initiate and lead an independent, extramurally funded research program of international caliber. The research environment at UTHealth Houston provides unparalleled opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary researchers both within the institution and with other institutions in the Texas Medical Center. Collaborative opportunities are also available within specialized research centers, including the Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health

with an approved
ABET
Qualifications: Candidates for the industrial hygiene position should have a doctorate degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health or other closely related fields; and hold current CIH certification or be CIH-eligible.
