UTHealth Houston School of Public Health invites applications for the positions of Associate Professor or Professor in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences, affiliated with the Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (SWCOEH). The School has six locations across Texas, including Houston, which is part of the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical complex in the world. The successful candidate will join the Houston campus with a cross-appointment in the Division of General Internal Medicine at McGovern Medical School. Responsibilities include leading an independent, internationally recognized research program in occupational medicine with external funding, and contributing to education and service missions. Qualifications include an MD degree, current board certification in Occupational or Preventive Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, and eligibility for Texas medical licensure.
