Overview This role requires in-office attendance on the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Friday is flexible and can be worked at your discretion. The Sr. SEC Accountant is responsible for assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness. The role also includes stock compensation accounting and variance analysis. Responsibilities Prepare SEC Filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Proxy) Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC standards, including drafting disclosures and MD&A. Prepare quarterly disclosure checklists and review XBRL tagging. Support SEC filings with schedules like earnings per share. Manage documentation requests for quarterly and year-end activities. Prepare share-based compensation entries and analysis. Perform and document internal controls per SOX. Complete tie-outs and support binders for filings. Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed. This description is not exhaustive; duties may change at any time. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution. CPA required. Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in Big 4 public accounting and SEC filings (10-Qs, 10-Ks). Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, ability to handle sensitive information, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle, Hyperion, and Workiva preferred.
