Automotive Accounting Assistant Manager

Review employee pay plans to ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and applicable guidelines based on department and position. Review and approve pay plans entered into the electronic database, verifying accuracy and compliance. Prepare, review, and reconcile end-of-period commission reports; distribute reports to department managers for employee review and confirmation. Record additional end-of-period bonuses, ensuring supporting documentation is received and properly approved by department managers. Prepare and post final commission entries to the appropriate general ledger accounts. Ensure strict adherence to established processes and procedures within the department. Ensure strict adherence to established processes and procedures by all dealerships as related to commission processing and pay plan completion. Train employees on proper processes, procedures, and general dealership accounting practices to ensure a full understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Investigate, review, and resolve commission discrepancies reported by department managers or employees in a timely manner. Assist the Manager with commission calculation setups, reviews, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring proper accounting criteria are applied. Support the onboarding of additional dealerships and positions into the centralized commission process, including developing calculation setups and documentation requirements. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications
At least 2 continuous years of managing 5+ employees At least 3 years of Automotive Accounting Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Proficient in MS Office Strong Multitasker Detail Oriented Ability to adapt to changing processes Relevant Experience – preferred, not required
