Overview
We are hiring for one Senior Financial Analyst position that may be based out of either our Florida or California office locations. While we are considering candidates from both coasts, only one role will be filled.

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Finance team and business leaders to achieve strategic objectives and drive profitable growth. This role involves Asset Liability Management (ALM) analytics and balance sheet strategy, with a focus on analyzing performance down to the product level and understanding key financial drivers and risks under various economic scenarios. The analyst partners with leadership to develop and refine hedging and funding strategies to optimize risk-adjusted returns. A strong foundation in financial modeling is essential, including maintaining and enhancing models for ALM, profitability, planning, and CECL. The position also includes identifying opportunities for financial improvement and providing strategic recommendations to support long-term business goals, delivering insights to senior management and cross-functional teams, and contributing to ad-hoc reporting and scenario planning.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform ALM and capital stress testing on the business plan evaluating financial risks (IRR, Credit, Liquidity, etc.) against established policy guidelines and risk appetite
Develop and test “what if” scenarios to optimize performance
Perform financial analysis on profitability (member, product and channel), review performance, provide insights and opportunities to management
Collaborate with leaders in Finance and Credit Risk to update model assumptions
Provide insights and recommendations on the value of the membership across various member segments
Utilize expertise in accounting and financial concepts, including activity-based costing, funds transfer pricing, and the programming and utilization of the measurement process
Manage modeling tool inputs, evaluate and update methodology; maintain detailed documentation of model assumptions and changes
Develop and deliver regular ALM performance reporting including KPI for ALCO, senior management and board committees
Analyze new product/service proposals to support product development and assess financial viability and performance
Ensure accuracy of model inputs
Perform model back tests and coordinate model validation with third parties
Develop financial assumptions, analyses and recommendations
Perform monthly updates to current year and 12-month budget and liquidity forecasts
Partner with business units to develop projections and forecasts
Assemble the ALCO meeting packet and document meeting discussions
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support critical financial and operational decisions
Knowledge & Skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced analytics
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
Profitability analysis
Minimum Education & Experience Minimum Education Required to Perform Job:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Years of Relevant Work Experience Required to Perform Job Upon Hire:
5 to 7 years
Other Training, Technical Skills, or Knowledge Required
Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced analytics
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
Profitability analysis

The hiring range for this position in Florida is $84,960 to $127,440 per year and in California is $96,000 to $144,000 per year. The base pay offered will account for internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on level and position offered.
