Role Overview

We are seeking a

Manager of Lease Accounting

to lead the global lease accounting function. This role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP, while maintaining strong internal controls. In this role, you will oversee global lease processes, provide technical guidance on complex lease arrangements, and ensure compliance with ASC 842. You will also manage a high-performing team of lease accountants, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive process improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy and efficiency across the organization. Key Responsibilities

Lead the global lease accounting function, ensuring compliance with ASC 842 and related standards. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and internal reporting. Review and interpret complex lease agreements to ensure proper accounting treatment. Manage global lease schedules and maintain the integrity of data in the Lease Accounting Application. Partner with Real Estate, Legal, FP&A, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate lease data capture and compliance. Prepare and review lease-related disclosures and audit deliverables for external reporting. Lead, coach, and develop a global team of lease accountants. Drive continuous improvement through automation, system enhancements, and process standardization. Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with in-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and FASB standards. 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Experience with lease accounting systems; FinQuery strongly preferred. Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to interpret complex agreements. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate results under deadlines. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Corporate accounting or public accounting background strongly preferred.
