We are seeking two
Senior Lease Accountants
to join the global accounting team. You will prepare and review lease documentation, validate lease schedules, and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. You will act as a subject matter expert on lease accounting, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive improvements in processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and maintain lease documentation in compliance with ASC 842. Manage lease data entry and updates in the Lease Accounting Application, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contractual terms. Review complex lease arrangements to determine appropriate classification and accounting treatment. Oversee lease-related activities in financial close cycles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. Perform detailed reconciliations of lease-related balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies proactively. Serve as a point of contact for cross-functional teams to ensure accurate lease data capture and reporting. Prepare and review lease-related audit schedules and support internal/external audit requests. Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices in lease accounting operations. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. CPA certification strongly preferred. Experience with lease accounting systems; FinQuery highly preferred. Strong technical expertise in ASC 842 and lease accounting standards. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
