Regulatory Auditor (Field Compliance) – Springfield, MO . Location: Springfield, Missouri.

You can begin a rewarding career within state government in this entry-level professional tax auditing position. You will receive formal and on-the-job training. As you gain experience, you’ll also gain increasing independence and initiative in the performance of assignments within established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Independently conduct sales/use/withholding tax audits on Missouri businesses.
Assist taxpayers in achieving compliance, as well as an understanding of Missouri tax laws.
Assist higher-level staff in conducting audits, and independently conducts routine audit assignments.
Qualifications Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major specialization (approximately 18-30 semester hours) in accounting. (Related professional experience may be considered for substitution.)
