The Los Angeles Dodgers are offering a Summer Analyst position. This is expected to be a 3-month program with start and end dates determined by the academic calendar for the selected candidate. Title: Summer Analyst Department: Quantitative Analysis Status: Associate (3-month program) Location: Los Angeles, CA Pay Rate: $23/hour + housing stipend Duties/Responsibilities

Fit and evaluate predictive models of baseball Analyze, interpret, and communicate statistical results with appropriate nuance Perform ad hoc data analysis to answer urgent questions from groups within baseball operations Basic Requirements/Qualifications

Must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution Demonstrated experience building and evaluating predictive models Strong coding skills in Python (preferred) or R Ability to communicate technical results to non-technical audiences Availability to live and work in Los Angeles for the duration of your internship Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States Nice-To-Haves

Experience with git/version control Exposure to probabilistic programming (Numpyro/PyMC/Stan) Exposure to deep learning frameworks (Jax/PyTorch/TensorFlow) Experience working with time-series, image, or video data Application Process & Equal Opportunity
