$23/hour + housing stipend The Los Angeles Dodgers Quantitative Analysis team is responsible for using data to enhance decision-making throughout Baseball Operations. They design, implement, and maintain the models used to inform decisions about player personnel, player development, and on-field strategy. Candidates providing evidence of skills such as a personal GitHub page or example of research will be given highest consideration. Responsibilities

Fit and evaluate predictive models of baseball Analyze, interpret, and communicate statistical results with appropriate nuance Perform ad hoc data analysis to answer urgent questions from groups within baseball operations Basic Requirements/Qualifications

Must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution Demonstrated experience building and evaluating predictive models Strong coding skills in Python (preferred) or R Ability to communicate technical results to non-technical audiences Availability to live and work in Los Angeles for the duration of your internship Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States Nice- to- haves

Experience with git/version control Exposure to probabilistic programming (Numpyro/PyMC/Stan) Exposure to deep learning frameworks (Jax/PyTorch/TensorFlow) Experience working with time-series, image, or video data Application Instructions
