Annapolis Estates and Trusts law firm is in search of a CPA to join our estate and trust administration team. This unique role combines
accounting and legal knowledge , making it ideal for a professional with proficiency in
accounting, tax compliance, tax/legal research, and estate administration . The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes responsibility for his or her work. Although we emphasize a team approach, we look for people who function independently while following established procedures and working with a team. Previous experience with accounting is preferred. Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and analyze estate and trust accountings Prepare fiduciary income tax returns Prepare estate tax returns Prepare and file estate administration documents such as petitions for probate, inventories and information reports, and accountings Assist the estate and trust administration team with case preparation, filings, and client communications Manage client communications to obtain necessary information necessary for the smooth administration of estates and trusts Requirements: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (Active and in good standing) Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and with others and to manage multiple projects Benefits: Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Health reimbursement plan Retirement plan Professional development and CPA/Paralegal certification renewal assistance Paid time off and flexible work arrangements Growth opportunities within the firm Company Description Franke Beckett LLC is a boutique law firm focused on Estates and Trusts law.
