Overview
Seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support our busy and growing trusts and estates practice. This role is essential to ensuring the seamless administration of estates and trusts while providing exceptional service to our clients. Primary job duties include meeting with clients and the supervising attorney to assist with the estate and trust administration process; communicating with estate and trust fiduciaries; reviewing estate planning documents, such as Wills and Trusts; preparing and drafting probate petitions, accountings, and financial statements; performing legal research; maintaining attorney calendars and case files; communicating with the Register of Wills Office, various courts, creditors, and third party attorneys; serving as a liaison between the client and attorney; and preparing, reviewing, and organizing estate tax returns with the accompanying supporting documentation. Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm Responsibilities
Meeting with clients and the supervising attorney to assist with the estate and trust administration process Communicating with estate and trust fiduciaries Reviewing estate planning documents, such as Wills and Trusts Preparing and drafting probate petitions, accountings, and financial statements; Performing legal research; maintaining attorney calendars and case files; Communicating with the Register of Wills Office, various courts, creditors, and third party attorneys; Serving as a liaison between the client and attorney Preparing, reviewing, and organizing estate tax returns with the accompanying supporting documentation. Requirements
2–3 years of experience in estate and trust administration or related legal work. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Experience with drafting and recording real estate deeds is preferred Knowledge of estate tax return preparation is a plus Benefits
