LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a team in the transportation and logistics sector. This hybrid role is based in Montgomery County and will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. Responsibilities
Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and month-end close. Handle intercompany reclassifications and ensure proper G/L coding for all transactions. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Conduct account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts. Assist with internal and external audits as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation. Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Proficiency in G/L coding and account analysis. Sage Intacct experience is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment. Compensation
$90,000-$115,000 Benefits
Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision. PTO is offered on an accrual basis. Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law. 401K with 3.5% Match. How to apply
