Accounting Manager
with a strong background in
GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and team leadership . This role oversees monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes, supports the annual audit, ensures technical accounting accuracy, and drives process improvements across the finance function.
Base pay range $120.00/yr - $130.00/yr
Responsibilities
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Supervise and mentor the accounting team
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Manage audit deliverables and oversee external audits
Provide technical accounting guidance and policy implementation
Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Qualifications
CPA, CMA, or CGMA – Required
5+ years of accounting experience , including
Big 4 or public accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Experience with consolidations, lease accounting (ASC 842), and financial audits
ERP systems and financial reporting tools experience a plus
Preferred Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
