ACADEMIC HOSPITALISTS WITH THE MEDICAL COLLEGE OF WISCONSIN

The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for our Section of Hospital Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine. Our faculty work at Froedtert Hospital, a 500-bed, regional referral center in Milwaukee, WI. Here, they have opportunities to attend on medical teams with residents and medical students, as well as traditional hospitalist medical teams with advanced practice providers. Additional opportunities are available on medical teams focusing on procedures, advanced heart failure, and an observation team in conjunction with the Emergency Department. Faculty have the opportunity to participate in a variety of scholarly projects. Structured mentoring in medical education, quality improvement, and research is readily available through the section of hospital medicine. The Medical College offers ample faculty development opportunities through the Clinical and Translational Institute of Southeast Wisconsin (CTSI), the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Institute, and the MCW Graduate School. BC/BE in Internal Medicine and eligibility for Wisconsin licensing are required.
