Overview

Our Client has a permanent (direct-hire) position for an HSE Supervisor. This is a large and financially strong tier-one supplier. A great work environment with full benefits and competitive salary. Responsibilities

Implement and maintain compliance with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) standards. Conduct internal audits, identify gaps, and develop action plans to ensure ongoing certification readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ISO standards into operational processes. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations by developing, implementing, and monitoring workplace safety programs, policies, and procedures. Lead investigations into workplace incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Stay updated on OSHA requirements and provide training and guidance to employees and management to ensure compliance. Develop and oversee comprehensive safety programs to identify and mitigate risks, reduce injuries, and improve workplace safety. Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and inspections to identify and resolve safety issues. Lead safety committees, promote employee involvement in safety activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage environmental compliance initiatives, including waste management, air emissions, water quality, and chemical handling. Oversee sustainability programs, fostering resource efficiency and environmental responsibility. Maintain required permits, documentation, and reporting to regulatory bodies. Deliver effective training programs on ISO standards, OSHA regulations, and workplace safety practices to employees at all levels. Mentor and coach employees to strengthen their understanding and application of HSE principles. Promote continuous learning and professional development in HSE competencies. Track, analyze, and report key HSE performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Use data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and drive HSE performance improvements. Qualifications

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ISO Lead Auditor (14001/45001), or equivalent are highly desirable. Experience

Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience, preferably in an automotive manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated expertise in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OSHA compliance. Seniority level
