The Assurance Experienced Senior will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day "in-charge" duties of planning, fieldwork, and "wrap-up" to include the preparation of financial statements with disclosures, applying most areas of GAAP as necessary, and documenting, validating, testing, and assessing various control systems. This position also involves acting as the client contact for basic questions and information, and may include review and agreed-upon procedure engagements. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise audit engagements, ensuring compliance with firm policies and professional standards. Assess and document internal controls and recommend improvements. Apply GAAP, GAAS, SEC, and PCAOB standards to audit procedures and financial reporting. Coordinate audit planning, fieldwork, and review stages with team and clients. Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing feedback and coaching. Research complex accounting issues and communicate findings effectively. Prepare and review financial statements with disclosures in accordance with GAAP. Maintain client relationships and act as the primary contact for audit engagements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics; CPA certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years relevant audit experience, with supervisory experience preferred. Eligible to sit for CPA exams; actively pursuing CPA certification required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with assurance tools is a plus. Additional Skills
