JOB OVERVIEW: As Infinity Home Service’s General Ledger Accountant, you will play a key role in the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial records. Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for executing essential accounting tasks that support timely and accurate monthly financial closes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting support. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment with exposure to a variety of general ledger activities. It is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to grow, and looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting within a collaborative team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and post journal entries for recurring transactions, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll, and credit card activity Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies to ensure accurate and complete financial records Assist with the month-end close process by meeting deadlines and supporting team-wide reporting activities Perform daily cash reconciliations to ensure timely identification and resolution of variances Help ensure data accuracy in the general ledger and assist with resolving issues in coordination with accounts payable and local accounting teams Support internal and external audit requests by providing account details and backup documentation Participate in ongoing efforts to streamline and improve accounting processes and standard operating procedures REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; candidates with an associate degree or equivalent work experience will also be considered 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or related areas Working knowledge of accounting principles and month-end processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems a plus BENEFITS: Opportunities for professional growth and development tied to your personal interests A transparent, supportive, and collaborative work environment The chance to make a positive impact on our communities and the environment Competitive: Health, dental, and vision coverage; PTO; Paid Holidays; Life Insurance; 401k with match COMPENSATION: Salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year based upon a variety of factors including years of experience and demonstrated skillset.
