An established membership organization with multiple entities is seeking a skilled

General Ledger Accountant

to join its accounting team. Position Overview

The General Ledger Accountant will manage cost allocations, perform reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple entities. The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a straightforward, member-driven culture. This position also offers growth potential into an Accounting Manager role for those with leadership aspirations. Key Responsibilities

Perform general ledger accounting, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries Manage cost allocations across multiple entities Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures Partner with leadership to stabilize accounting operations and improve processes Handle payroll processing Work with QuickBooks, Bill.com, and ADP for daily accounting functions Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5+ years of general ledger accounting experience; nonprofit or multi-entity experience a plus Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level or higher) for reconciliations and financial analysis Knowledge of cost allocations and multi-entity accounting QuickBooks, Bill.com, and ADP experience preferred Ability to adapt to a straightforward, member-service-oriented culture Strong organizational skills and ability to improve processes Salary range:

$95,000 – $105,000 , depending on experience Medical and standard benefits package Potential for growth into an Accounting Manager role Job Details
