My client is seeking a hands-on AR professional who can lead a small team, streamline processes, and ensure billing, collections, and cash application are accurate and timely. You’ll work closely with leadership while managing relationships with vendors, payors, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities
Supervise AR staff in invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and payment processing Oversee deposit reconciliation and ensure accuracy during month-end close Review aged claims, audit documentation, and refund checks Implement and improve AR policies, procedures, and internal controls Partner across departments to resolve issues and support cash flow initiatives Mentor, train, and develop AR team members What They’re Looking For
Associate’s Degree in Medical Billing or Accounting (required) 3–5 years of progressive AR/Medical Billing experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role Healthcare or pharmacy claims experience strongly preferred Strong Excel skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Detail-oriented, proactive, and an effective communicator
