Overview We are partnering with a global leader in financial services to hire a Manager, Financial Accounting with a focus on compensation. This is a high-visibility role supporting one of the most significant expense lines within the organization's P&L.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team responsible for compensation accounting, providing training, guidance, and performance oversight.
Perform and review monthly compensation and bonus calculations, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
Review changes to employee contracts and update accruals accordingly.
Assist with preparing and communicating commission calculations and bonus deferrals to business leaders and senior management.
Review and approve journal entries for employee-related costs including benefits, insurance, and pensions.
Support internal and external audit requests by providing reconciliations and supporting documentation.
Requirements
4+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
